Sydney Airport Re-launches T1 Food Court

Sydney Airport Chairman & CEO, Max Moore-Wilton, today officially re-launched the T1 International Food Court following a 3 month redevelopment project involving the arrival of five new key-brand food outlets. Mr Moore-Wilton said passengers and visitors to Sydney Airport would enjoy the revitalised Food Court with the new outlets that included Asagao, Subway, Oporto, Krispy Kreme and Pulp Juice.

“Passengers and visitors tell us that our cafes, bars, restaurants and takeaway food outlets are an important part of what makes Sydney Airport one of the world’s best airports and now they will have even more reason to enjoy their airport experience,” Mr Moore-Wilton said. “We are committed to providing the best possible facilities and services and we will continue to look for ways to improve our performance. “I am pleased to welcome our new food retailers who join our existing Food Court outlets – Bok Choy, McDonalds and Shakespeares Pies.”

Mr Moore-Wilton said the new food retailers had recognised the opportunity to be positioned in the world-class Sydney Airport environment and that it was the first outlet based at an Australian airport for all the new operators.

“Our new food outlets bring not just a fresh approach to food at Sydney Airport but also reinforce the importance of the Airport to the economy with more than 150 new jobs created through the opening of these stores,” Mr Moore-Wilton added.

The celebrations of the T1 Food Court re-launch featured the drawing of a competition for a trip for two to Bali including airfares, accommodation and $500 Duty and Tax-free shopping vouchers courtesy of Air Paradise and Sydney Airport plus performances by pop group, Human Nature.[/quote]
